Where Have We Been?

Well, it's been quite a while hasn't it Jon?

Oh, that's right.  Jon got a new job.  That's what he's been up to lately.  Jon is now in the CSO Academy (or whatever it's technically called).  I couldn't be happier for him.  He's doing what he loves.

As for me... I've moved into my house, and got a third dog.  His name is Hunter.

Anyways, so these are our excuses for not having a show in over 2 months.  (especially Hunter, he's been very adamant about us NOT filming in the house... but whatever)  Hopefully we'll be filming again soon.

Episode 2 Is Out!!!

Well, episode 2 is out!  The biggest topic of this episode is Star Trek.  We also cover the movie The Spirit, but who really cares about that when we saw STAR TREK!!!

Anyways, we're having a blast doing the podcast and we're filming episode 3 tonight.  We'll be covering Star Trek Nemesis, We Were Soldiers and Runes of Magic (finally).

Hey guys it's Jon!

Just wanted to get the first blog up. First I wanted to let whoever is reading this (probably only Kyle) know that we are starting to get all the stories together this week, hopefully, but we should have our first test film/run through this week and hopefully have them up for y'all to see in a couple of weeks. I can't say what the exact topics will be, mainly cause I don't know, but hopefully y'all will find it interesting, fun to watch, and pretty hilarious. But more importantly we can show you that Christians are "normal" and can enjoy modern day topics just like the next person.

What Is ION?

ION (In Other News) is a podcast by Jon Vickery and Kyle Lane. The podcast is very much like the popular Diggnation and Total Rad Show podcasts but with one BIG difference. The goal of In Other News is to present things in our culture (Music, Movies, TV, Sports....) in a clean, Christian way. We want to provide a podcast that Christians (and the general population that doesn't enjoy cussing and inappropriate topics) can enjoy, but we also want to show everyone that Christians can be "normal".
